Clan Game Layout (red)
Hi everyone. How I said, I will make a tutorial to a "Red Clan Layout". I made this for counter-strike, because I think most of the people know this game.
What we are going to do:
The PSD File is available
Ok, at first, we need a new Pattern. Make a new document, sizes 5x5 pixels and make a transparent background. Zoom to 1600% and select your Pencil Tool set the Hardness to 100% and to size to 1 pixel
Make it just like me:
Edit > Define Pattern
Name it how you want.
Now open a new document. sizes about 760x770.
Make a new layer and fill it with a Gradient. 3e3e3e --> 4f5050 Start about in the middle of the image, and go UP!
Now go to Layer styles:
Now make a big Shape.
Add these little layer styles to it.
It should look like this now.
Make a new Shape 4f0404 and place it like me!
Now add your Gamers, or whatever you want to have in you header. I
have added a Abstract Brush, too.
Now please add the name of you clan, or site.
Now duplicate the text layer!
Select your Move Tool and press One time RIGHT and UP
Do this about 3-5 times. You result should be something like this.
Now place another Counter-Terrorist or a figur of the game you want to have it for. Select your Eraser Tool and start erasing something of the guy. Decrease the opacity of the eraser everytime a bit more until you get something you like.
Turn down the opacity of the layer to about 10-30 %
Now we will make the Navigation. Make a little shape and place it like me.
Add these Layer styles to it.
Make this a few times until you are finished.
Now! You can add a Bevel and Emboss and a Contur. Personally I like it without!
So you will get this result.
Add a text! I just used a Drop Shadow for this text.
Ok. Normally that's it.
But I wanna show you how this Layout can look, when there are some News.
For creating news, just make 2 Shapes and place them just like me. It's important to make them BLACK and WHITE. Place them quite near together.
Turn the Opactiy of the black shape to about 50-70% and the Fill of the white shape to about 10-20%
To let the white shape look a bit better. Add a Outer Glow
